Kind of a weird title, eh? Well, it pretty much describes the only state I am not in: In the last three weeks I have done a lot of stuff and seen a lot of sights but this all involved an ultimate lack of efficiency. Even right now, a nice Sunday afternoon with minus 12 temperatures outside do not lead me to any study related work. Today I have, sofar, seen three episodes of 24, some Dutch tv program, talked to people on msn and just finished munching away my breakfast (at 3 PM that is). I guess I will start studying after finishing this little piece for you people.

So, what have I done the last couple of weeks? Not much, after putting the last blog up Lars and I prepared for some pre-birthday/ Lars-is-leaving party, which turned out quite successful (read: too much alcohol). After a rather relaxing birthday with six hours of classes straight the weekend meant another trip. This time to Toronto, which was going back to where my Canada journey started… and for some reason it disappointed me a little, or it did not fascinate me as much as it did the first day in Canada. I mean, it is still a great city, with nice hidden spots, weird ghetto like hippie places and that kind of stuff, but it is small compared to New York . Other than that we (we were with a large group from Kingston) had a great but interesting night out in, what I think, is one of the bigger clubs in Toronto: Circa. Good music, expensive drinks, guys dressed up as (semi-)gangsters and girls with not much clothing at all.
The only thing that lacks of this trip are pictures, I forgot to bring my camera.

The rest of last week I haven’t done much except for catching up on sleep, watching movies and contemplating about when to start studying . One of the movies I watched this week was the fairly new Coen brothers’ movie called Burn After Reading, which is seriously one of the best movies I have seen in a while, a must!
Last but not least I went to an (ice) hockey game. This sport is fast, intense, physical, funny and cool to watch at the same time. Although officially not allowed players start fighting with each other (competing teams obviously) at random moments throughout the game. Definitely going back for more of this sport.
